Sara Dadvand is a graduate of California State University Northridge with a Master of Science degree in Communicative Disorders. She has an undergraduate degree in Linguistics and Psychology from UCLA. Mrs. Dadvand has the passion and dedication for treating communication disorders. She has over 10 years of experience working with children and adults with various disorders. Mrs. Dadvand believes that every individual deserves their own unique method of treatment and personalized plan in order to achieve excellent communication goals.

Our Goals

Communication is something we do on a daily basis and it’s usually taken for granted. Once there is a breakdown in any form of communication, it dramatically impacts our lives and the lives of our loved ones. Our goal is to provide each person with an individualized plan to excel in their communication skills. For young children, early intervention is critical. The first 5-7 years of life is a critical time for cognitive development. I like to compare this important timeline to gold. We work with parents, therapists, schools and care givers to help individuals flourish with their language skills.

We also assist both children and adults with swallowing and feeding difficulties. Simple changes in food preparation and presentation can make a world of difference. There are numerous exercises for adults to improve their swallow skills and we also assist with direct meal planning to help ease swallow difficulties.

Communication is a skill that you can learn. It’s like riding a bicycle or typing. If you’re willing to work at it, you can rapidly improve the quality of every part of your life.
